The educational village is located on a 130,000 sf site north Downtown Phoenix. It is an intergenerational community consisting of housing, a Remote Residential Collage, Live/Work area, retail - office, and parking zone. Some of the main ideas developed in the project are: Thinking systematically, visualizing the Whole thing, learning and teaching, community, solitude, and order. Using these ideas to bring the generations together in a complex that breaks with the grid of Downtown Phoenix and creates a sense of an icon community.
