New School of Architecture [ University of Puerto Rico ].

The beginning of the project starts with the designing of a master plan laid out in the University of Puerto Rico following patterns from the book A Pattern Language by Christopher Alexander.  The master plan consists of The School of Fine Arts, The School of Planning and The School of Architecture in a site designated by the administration of the University.  The School is the place to learn and the idea is that the building can teach the students. This lets them  experience with the building what they learn in the class room,  with spaces for student gathering and a variety of textures, transitional spaces, light patterns, closed and open spaces, among others. In addition the School will have all the needed working equipments, like the computer room, model studio and environmental studio, as accessible as possible.
